As someone that had aspirations to be a journalist when I was in school, this is one of the most enjoyable parts of my job. I love working with journalists and content creators to generate coverage for a client. I’ve developed strong relationships with media locally, nationally, and across specialist sector titles. Because of the fragmentation of media and the sheer number of different ways people access news/information today, media relations is more than just sending out a news release - it’s about developing a suite of content that works for specific platforms and their audience.
